Start earning
Fans scan and tip before, during and after the show, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Tips are paid to your bank through Stripe.
Feedback with every tip
Every tip can carry a star rating and a private message: the song that landed, a request, honest feedback. Only you can read it.
Tips into Google reviews
For hospitality: after a happy guest tips their server, JamJar nudges them to your Google review page.
Money you can trust
Payments run through Stripe. Tips go to the person, never the venue, and payouts land in your own bank.

What performers say
“As a band, we earned our biggest EVER fee for a gig in London through Jamma's JamJar tool!”
“We used the JamJar tipping and feedback service across an entire stage for our main gig day. All of the artists earned extra money and got individual feedback from the crowd.”
“Even the professional look of my custom QR code made audiences more willing to tip. I made back the cost of my subscription and then some in my first gig alone!”
“We set up our QR code in minutes. The fan feedback is genuinely useful too, not just the tips!”
“Audiences really do use the QR code. It's simple to log in and withdraw your earnings, and that extra income at gigs makes a real difference!”
“A brilliant way of connecting artists with their fans directly, and supporting artists through tips and valued feedback.”
Questions
What is JamJar?
JamJar is a digital tip jar. You get a personal QR code; anyone who scans it can tip you by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and leave a rating and message. No app or sign-up is needed to tip. It works at gigs, on the street, at weddings, in restaurants, anywhere someone deserves a tip.
Is it free?
Yes, setting up is completely free. A fee of 20% + VAT (24% in total) comes out of each tip you receive. The tipper pays exactly what they choose. On Jamma Premium the JamJar platform fee is 0%; card processing (about 1.5% + 20p a tip) is still deducted.
How do payouts work?
Once you've connected a bank through Stripe, each tip (minus the fee) goes to your Stripe account when it's paid, and Stripe pays your bank on your payout schedule.
What can fans pay with?
All major debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Tippers never need to create an account or download anything.
How does the feedback work?
Tippers can leave a star rating and a message with their tip, a favourite song, a request, or feedback on the set. Messages are completely private and only visible to you.
Can hospitality venues use it?
Yes. Each staff member gets their own QR so guests tip the individual who served them, and you can add a nudge to your venue's Google Review page after a happy tip. Many venues run JamJar instead of a pooled service charge.
