The GILHOOLYS

About

The Gilhooly’s  Once described by various DJs and Music Journalists as “ The Next Big Thing From Scotland” are a Hard Hitting, Energetic Band bursting with Indie Rock Tones! A cult Glasgow band with a big support who generated from the same stables in the 90s as bands such as Travis, Teenage Fan club and Cosmic Rough Riders. Speaking of which, The Ex Cosmic’s Bass Player, James Clifford is now fully entrenched in the Gilhooly’s line up and adding some power packed thumping Bass lines and Harmonies. With the resurgence of their old songs getting Airplay again as well as their music being played via YouTube and the usual social media outlets, they have Re-emerged from the shadows. Having signed to Main St Records they released their first Single - STAR ( No 1 Indy chart) in June 21 and followed up with - WILL GOD FORGIVE - ( No 2 Rock Chart). Along with a new album release in November 21 - G10 - ( No 6 Rock Chart ) and touring Scotland with the new songs, It’s been an incredibly busy year for The Gs . To cap that off, their last Single “ The Score “ reached No 3 In the Indie Chart also which resulted in them being nominated for “ Best Indie Act” for online Radio which took place on 19th Jan 23 in London. The Fans are back and talking and listening, while the band are back for some unfinished business.
