Stonehocker

About

Stonehocker is one man with a guitar and sample pedal, one voice to capture your attention. His powerful vocals are the focal point of the show; accompanied by acoustic guitar, underlined by minimalistic beats to give more life to the show, and finally samples placed lightly throughout to highlight the alternative edge. All the samples come straight from Stonehocker's recorded music, making his shows custom and unique. In this post-pandemic society where mental health issues have become even more prevalent; Stonehocker's goal is to be open, honest and inspire people to have the courage for self-discovery. The new single, “I Am Divided”, is a song about a conflicted soul. Where one part of you is looking for something good, something you need, yet you constantly do things that take you further from it. Stonehocker believes that all of us are conflicted, but not everyone acknowledges it, which is unfortunate because recognizing this conflict is integral to being able to find what you’re looking for. It’s like the first step on a journey. And that’s what this first single is, the first step on a journey, the acknowledgement of conflict in oneself. “I Am Divided” is the beginning of everything that’s coming, and Stonehocker’s connection to you.
