About
We are Stone Mile, a 5-piece original indie rock band from the Greater Manchester area. We have been active since September 2021 and have already managed to release two singles and get a handful of gigs under out belt. Our most recent release ‘Settle Down’ came out on 21st April. This track has a much rawer sound and vibe in comparison to our first release, ‘Circular Quay’. It incorporates punchy drums, huge guitar riffs and bright, catchy vocal melodies which has had everyone dancing and singing along at previous live shows. ‘Settle Down’ is about realising that you only need yourself to be happy. Don’t wait on anyone. Just be you! We take influence from bands such as Wolf Alice, early Arctic Monkeys, and many more when writing their songs, these influences really come through in the latest release.
