Stanley Sibande is a Zambian-born Cape Town, South Africa-based folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is touring the UK for the first time in the summer of 2024. Stanley began his music journey when he was in his teens and would sing along with his older sister who loved boy bands at the time. Inspired by that vivid memory, he formed and performed in various alternative bands during his school days. After completing his university studies in Electrical Engineering in 2017, he bravely decided to pursue music as a full-time career. In 2019, Stanley decided to relocate from his home country of Zambia to South Africa with nothing but a guitar on his back in search of a better life and hasn't looked back since. Known as one of the most soulful and revered musicians in Cape Town on the solo singer-songwriter circuit, Stanley is now taking his trusty guitar to the UK from 1st July 2024 to start his international journey.
