About

indifferentMonKeY won the best band 22 Award at a live ceremony at Bedford in Bahlam (in their first year) and headlined there again as last years winners. They were hand picked by Chris Hawkins from BBC6music to open up Lancaster’s Highest Point Festival earlier this year and play gigs at main music venues around the country. The band have been compared to the likes of giants like Queen, Led Zeppelin but are stand out in their own style of a kind of Trip Hop/Rock/Dance hybrid. They have been on BBC introducing Lancashire with an interview with their SENSATIONAL 19 year old singer Ellie, about Highest Point. The last single was called little PILL and is on YOU TUBE (and all the rest Spotify etc). Thanks so much Joe Lowe 07918757702 PRESS: “They're kind of like a trip-hop indie-rock hybrid band, which is really my thing. I just love their sound and I think there's huge potential for them to go on to big things” - Chris Hawkins BBC6music DJ, BBC6Music/Skiddle (Mar 29, 2024 If you haven't seen this band live I urge you to, they really are something special. I've seen a few up and coming bands at Lancaster (When they were up and coming!) that I rated, Queen, Wishbone Ash, Dire Straits, Chris Rea, Duran Duran, Tom Petty, Pogues, Huey Lewis etc and I rate this band.
