About
Dark Rust is the solo project of Sussex based Jim Hennessy. Seamlessly melding synth-tronica and electro into a fractured dark-weave robo-disco infused rampage, Dark Rust uses analogue synths and samplers to blend retro beats into irresistible grooves. Haunting leads and gritty vocoders tempt you in as the pulsating bass lines make resistance futile. Dark Rust has been playing live along the south coast for a few years, recently supporting Magnetic Skies in Portsmouth and Office for Personal Development in Hastings. The debut album 'Tetro Disco' will be released May 2nd on Vinyl, CD and cassette and Dark Rust will be looking for opportunities to promote it.
