Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Nashville, Ally has always had music in her blood, whether it be blues, country, or pop. She grew up singing pop and jazz, but wasn't about to stop there. Soon, she branched out into musical theatre and opera as well. Her diversified music background informs her approach to indie and pop performance, distinguishing her wholly original sound. In her songs, she seeks to express authenticity and vulnerability through creative writing that doesn't cut corners. She writes lyrics audiences can relate to and understand that still transcend the mundane. While coming up with catchy melodies that get stuck in your head, she communicates shocking emotional honesty. A recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music postgraduate vocal & opera course, she currently lives in London. She is open to singing classical and pop gigs alike.
